When you’re looking for a product or service, what’s one of the first things you do? That’s right, you ask your family, friends, or colleagues

“Just received my phone bill – it’s a shocker”

“Well, we’ve just moved over to XYZ company, and they’re offering 3000 calls for $10 !!! … etc “

Yet when we speak to bookkeepers that just got a new client we ask if they’ve spoken to these clients about referrals

So why isn’t your client raving about you to their friends? Maybe they think that you’re too busy to squeeze in another client- there’s lots of reasons
